Nashville - Freshwater Fishing Report

Last weekend I joined Will McInnes and Michael for a float down a skinny water creek, a tributary of the Harpeth River near Nashville TN. The water was crystal clear, at times it was like looking into an aquarium, there were fish everywhere! We caught all three species of bass, as well as a few bonus sunfish. Both artificial soft plastic lures, and live bait was working great. The access points on this stretch were on private property, so it's rare for these fish to get any fishing pressure.

Nashville Fishing Forecast:

Fishing locations are dependent on current weather conditions. During periods of drought, larger rivers will produce the best results, and during periods of heavy rain, the smaller creeks will be the first to clear up and become fishable.

Target Species:

Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass
