Lake Eufaula - Freshwater Fishing Report
Water Level 188.22 msl
Water Temperature Upper 50's to low 60's
Water Clarity Muddy
The cold fronts, storm and changing barometric pressures are keeping the fish confused.
Bass are hitting chatter baits along shore cover. Heavy spoons on deeper cover, Buzz baits and other noisy lures are a good choice. Large red and bright colored plastics are also working well when fished really slow.
Crappie are on deep cover in 10 to 18 feet. Jigs tipped with minnows will get a bite.
Catfish always make a tasty meal and are eating cut bait in the creeks. Jug fishing is fun and can be exciting for younger fishermen.
