Smith Lake - Freshwater Fishing Report

Smith Lake
October 2nd, 2012

Once this rain moves out, I expect a good amount of fish to move back into the pockets with fresh water flow. Over the past weekend the fish started moving so this should help to bring them back together. I will be spending everyday this week on the week, I will have a in depth report by Friday. Any striper club members can call me in between now and then if you plan on hitting the water before Friday for a up date. Registration started yesterday for November 10th's striped bass tournament on Smith lake out of Speegle's Marina. Checkout my website or call me for details, don't miss your chance to fish in the only striped bass tournament in the state. Also I will be running a special before the tournament on umbrella rigs, starting October 10th. The Smith lake Striper club will be holding a meet on October 27th, call me if you interested in joining.
