Kenai River - Freshwater Fishing Report
Trout fishing is heating up with lots of rainbow trout and dolly varden feeding on salmon spawn. The kings have begun to spawn on both sections of river. This has created a strong egg bite on the trout and char. Anglers are having great to excellent fishing days. Silver salmon are starting to arrive as well. anglers are beginning to catch these hard fighters and fishing should begin to pick up for these aggressive salmon.
Kenai River Fishing Forecast:
The trout fishing only gets better from now through the end of September. Excellent to mind blowing fishing is to be expected. Flyfishing is the way to target these trophy size trout.
we do have some limited availability during the second half of September..... so call us ASAP to get these spots.
