Long Island Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Weekend report from the Kingfisher

Domingo Mateo’s group came up just shy of there limit on Stripers Sat. the 6th. Most of the fish were caught trolling sassy shad umbrella rigs deep on wire. They also got some action on blues and a few throwback stripers. Hickory shad have been moving in and out of the river, soon they will be taking up residence for the start of our live bait trips in July. I haven’t been out flukin,’ but received reports of fish at Isabella Beach and Misquamicut. With this warm weather fishing should get even better the next couple weeks.
