Miami Kids Fishing Trips

Capt. Alex Zapata
August 20, 2024
Biscayne Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

MIAMI KIDS FISHING TRIPS

Fishing with kids has always been one of my favorites trips to do. Our kids are the future of the world, and it's important to introduce them to outdoor actives at an early age.

In these times of technology, computers and social media, kids find themselves drifting away from activities like fishing and hunting, and getting immerse in the world of iPads and iPhones.

For us, parents, it's important to keep our kids interested in healthy activities to keep them busy… you can't beat showing them some quality time on the water playing with fish!

Miami is a fishery with several opportunities for kids to have fun and enjoy the water. Biscayne bay, directly in front of Miami and with immediate access from different marinas, is a bay of calm, shallow waters, where kids and families can have a great time learning the art of fishing.

As a fishing guide, nothing is more rewarding than watching the excitement of kids and parents that fishing brings to them. In Miami, we have different trips, tailored to different ages and levels. Whether you're totally new to fishing and looking for a new experience, or already an experienced fisherman looking to have your kids introduced to fishing, I have the right plan for you.

We will be fishing out of Miami's Biscayne bay or Flamingo in the Everglades National Park
For a wide variety of species, such as seatrout, snappers, Jacks, Barracudas, bonefish, tarpon, permit, sharks, snook among others. These are all species that we can target with different fishing techniques such as spinning, flyfishing, lures, dead or live bait.

Give me a call and I would be happy to introduce you and your family to my world of fishing!
