Yellow Eye Snapper in Bimini, Bahamas

Capt. David Ide
May 29, 2008
Fort Lauderdale - Saltwater Fishing Report

Reporting from Bimini, Bahamas!

Memorial Day weekend was a blast. Wheather was decent, seas were a little choppy, but the fish were biting.
We knew of a great yellow eye snapper spot, so we decided to go deep dropping in 830 ft of water. We fished with two electric 130 LP reels, 15 hooks per reel. It took aprx. three minutes to hit bottom, and it was a instant bite. We averaged 8 fish per drop. We reached our limit in no time at all.
