Homosassa - Saltwater Fishing Report

Trout and Reds Hungry

Today, Capt. Mike Locklear guided three guest of John Turman of the Atlanta/Homosassa Fishing Club to his and their limit of 4 redfish to 24 ½ inches plus many more released and 20 keeper trout to 18 inches. By 11:40 a.m. they were through with fishing for the most part. They all ate lunch and headed offshore for Spanish mackerel. 5 macks were caught before one of the guest said he might turn green from the 3 foot waves. The Captain quickly pulled the anchor and proceeded inshore and back to the dock.

Capt. Gary Cox also had his trout limit along with 10 more up to 20 inches.

Captains Mark Zorn, Ray Wallace and Charlie Harris all had nice trout catches as well.
