SeaVee Boats - Catch More Fish

Fishing Report for Homosassa, Florida

Capt. Mike Locklear
October 23, 2006
Homosassa - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Best Fishermens' Catch

Because I know most of you check my site on Mondays I write. Inshore fishing has been excellent. Off shore is very good now as well.

Just yesterday, a classic day of catching dozens small to slot sized reds was enjoyed by John Maddox, Sr. and John Euart, just two great men of thirty mol from the Homosassa Fishing Club whom were guided by the best men any where on this planet.

On Friday, Capt. Don Chancey brought in 14 gags in 30+ depths using sardines. Check out this month’s Florida Sportsman magazine for more about Don and grouper catching.

Speaking of best, it is truly a hells bay day, with winds gusting to twenty. It is time for me to find and put on the Frog Toggs and get ready for a day’s fishing and maybe some catching if we are lucky.

Y’all have a great day and thank you for viewing my report.

Capt. Mike
