Sailfish and kingfish

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
January 4, 2024
Key Biscayne - Saltwater Fishing Report

Finally, after a long, wait, sailfish and some nicer size kingfish are showing up on the edge. Using the kites to catch the Sailfish And trolling the planters to catch most of the kings, even though we have caught quite a few on our bottom rod . Occasionally we're catching a grouper or a snapper on the bottom rod. Fishing with a kite we're using mostly thread, and Herring with a few sardines, and on our bottom rod, we are fishing mostly live pilchards.. we had several first-time anglers out this week and both caught their first Sailfish.
