Key West - Saltwater Fishing Report

I'm happy to report that February has produced some warmer weather. A big high pressure ridge has stabilized over top of the Keys. Which means a bit of easterly breeze, but more important it means warm air. This warmer air has pushed the water temperature above 73 degrees on the flats. And of course that makes the fish happy, happy, happy.

I've seen a fair amount of permit the last few days, one would almost say it was close to being really good. Enough shots to keep us on point.
The bonefish have again made quite a debut. Finding them on a fair amount of flats. Always a good target for a fly caster or a tuned up Spin caster.
The barracuda fishing has been super fun on the flats.. Plenty of fish to keep an angler busy and happy. We've also been having quite a good time throwing flies at these barracuda.
Spring permit & tarpon dates are going fast. Doing be left on the dock.
