Beat the heat

Capt. Tim Daugherty
June 30, 2020
Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

Naples and Marco island inshore & backcountry fishing continues to produce some great action . Snook are in abundance from the beaches to the inshore islands . Due to the gin clear water, I have been having great success on sight Fishing for snook . Nothing beats throwing live baits at cruising fish in shallow water . Redfish have been chewing good on the morning incoming tides. Cut mullet or lady Fish chunks have been my go to baits . I have been looking for shorelines with current and patchy bottom . Stay as far off as you can cast as not to spook any fish. The name of the game is stick and move till you find some good action. Can't stress it enough get out early to beat the heat and enjoy a few Hrs of some comfortable fishing conditions. Hope everybody has a great 4th of July !!!!!!!!!!!
