Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello Fish Fans, the summer sailfish bite off the coast of Stuart is red hot right now and probably will be for the next 4 to 6 weeks. For the past several years the summer bite has delivered more double digit sailfish releases than the winter migration.

The calmer seas of summer really delivers an awesome bite to watch. The sails are up as they approach the bait and it would seem they like to scare the crap out of the bait before inhaling it, you gotta love it.
Although not as abundant mahi-mahi kingfish Bonita and blackfin tuna are scattered about the reefs as well.

We've been catching a few mahi-mahi along the reef line but the best mahi-mahi action is 15-25 miles off the beach. Allot of small mahi but there's a few nice ones in the mix.
The wind and seas are picture perfect on most days in July making it a great time for a Yellowfin Tuna Trip.
