American snapper and red grouper

Capt. Dave Pinkham
June 23, 2009
Venice - Saltwater Fishing Report

Right now our full day trips have been producing some nice catches of American snapper and red grouper. The long run of 35 miles or so is worth it to catch these fish.

On the shorter trips we're keeping everyone happy with black tip sharks, barracuda, little tunnie, Spanish mackerel, mangrove snapper, and a few keeper sized gag and red groupers.

The Gulf waters along the SW coast of Florida offer anglers some of the best fishing action in the country. We catch all sorts of fish such as grouper, snapper, cobia, king mackerel, shark, tuna, baracuda, and others.
