Lot's of Action!

Capt. Dave Pinkham
October 23, 2009
Venice - Saltwater Fishing Report

This morning there was pilchards (live white bait) everywhere in the surf. Standing on the beach I was watching the mackerel feeding on them at will.

Offshore the action has been just as good. The kingfish are showing up from 3 to 10 miles west of the beach. We been catching them on dragging live bluerunners and king spoons.

Grouper and snapper action is decent. All of our trips have been producing enough bottom action to send everyone home with some nice fillets for dinner.

More Fishing Reports:

Deep Sea Fishing aboard our offshore charter boat "Legacy". We are located directly on the Venice Inlet just 2 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf waters along the SW coast of Florida offer anglers some of the best fishing action in the country. We catch all sorts of fish such as grouper, snapper, cobia, king mackerel, shark, tuna, baracuda, and others. Our professional Captain and deckhand work hard to make sure you catch a lot of fish and have the best fishing trip of your life!
