Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

Since my last report, the stripers, crappie, and spots has been biting well on Lake Lanier most mornings and afternoons. Freelined bluebacks out over the channel, on points, and on deeper humps have produced well. A white bucktail and a leadhead fluke have also worked well on the stripers when the fish have been up boiling and pushing the bait up close to the bank. The crappie have been biting well on minnows and jigs, back in the rear of stained creeks around brush.

Overall, it's been a great spring since my last report. Follow us on twitter for more current daily fishing conditions and photos. This report is brought to you by Shane Watson Guide Service, Hammond's Fishing Center, Carolina Skiff Boats, Batteries Plus, Suzuki Marine, and Magic Tilt Trailers.
