Fishing Tournament Results reflect what I have always maintained - 26 Boats in a recent tournament (last Friday and Saturday)fished on the same days as my charter. Fresh Water Invasion - Gone are the emerald green waters locals and tourists love about SW FL. Pine Island Sound and San Carlos Bay have now taken on the color of weakly brewed coffee. As of this writing, it is ugly, hot, humid, but inshore fishing is above average.
