Fall is coming

Penobscot Bay - Freshwater Fishing Report

Water temps are starting to cool off so you should start to pick up a few salmon on the surface.
Togue are being seen in the depths of 40-60 feet so they are a bit easier to catch if you don't use downriggers. Leadcore is still a must with either lures or sewn bait.
Small and large mouth bass are still being caught in the shallows. Some big fish are hitting poppers and worms.

Penobscot Bay Fishing Forecast:

Fall fishing is my best time of year. What better time of year to fish. Troll your favorite pond or lake and view mother natures colors and wildlife.

Target Species:

LL Salmon, Togue, Brook Trout, Browns

More Fishing Reports:

Come fish My area of Downeast Maine. Fish for trout and bass on inland waterways.
