Went out and checked on the Red Snapper an looks real good. Had about 20 wrecks to investigate,all but 2 had real good Snapper bites, about 5 had 15 to 20lb Snappers, most of the ones that had the bigger snapper were new reefs, put out post Katrina.I don't think we had the first one under size,caught 4 or 5 Snapper off each one.

We were looking for Cobia(lemon fish), this tactic works really well pull Snapper up Cobia follow, (catch Cobia), we only caught 4 small cobia.
But Snapper season gonna run June 1 thru August 15 so need to get on Whipasnapa's guest book. Think Cobia gonna be good also just think the 15 inches rain muddy water slowed'um down should be steady thou so LETS GET IT ON!!!!!!!!

Mississippi Sound Fishing Forecast:

Red Snapper should be strong, Cobia should be too! Speckle Trout trips out around the Ms, Barrier Island should start to heat up as water an weather starts to get better.

Target Species:

Red Snapper, Cobia, King Mackeral, Amberjack,etc. Specks, Reds, Flounder, etc Sharks, Tarpon
