Winter Trip with Bobby Cleveland

This week I had the pleasure of guiding Outdoors Editor Bobby Cleveland and photographer Brian Broome, both of the Clarion Ledger newspaper. Here is a link to their story: http://www.clarionledger.com

The speckled trout had moved into an area of deep water around 16 to 20 feet in the main river channel. They bit slowly but consistently until the rain came and ended the trip.

The specks were mostly in the 14" category, but we had one that was 16" and another that was 18". Those fish will stay there until we get warmer temperatures to bring them into shallower water.

Fishing the beautiful marshes of the Pascagoula River for speckled trout, redfish, and flounder. We leave the dock at daylight and fish for 7 hours. Everything is provided: tackle, live bait, lures, soft drinks and water. Just 5 minutes off I-10 in Moss Point, MS.
