Palm Beach and Jupiter Inshore Report

Capt. Craig Korczynski
March 22, 2024
Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Spring break mania! Fun in the sun, rod bending action, people enjoying the outdoors. That is what South Florida is all about.

Spanish mackerel mania, provided plenty of drag screaming action for anglers on light tackle. Live bait and jigs best methods to catch these toothy critters. Schools of Spanish are hanging around deep holes and channel edges. Both sides of the tides produce plenty of action.

Deep holes have provided great bottom fishing action for anglers. Black drum, weakfish, snapper, jacks, bluefish, sharks, and many other species, all provided drag screaming action. Anglers are always happy when they see a different species on the end of the line.

Backcountry fishing still going steady with warmer water temperatures the snook are on the move. Mangrove shorelines and potholes are great areas to locate the line siders. Live bait and Rapala x raps have been bait of choice.

Freshwater side has been pretty steady. High clean, water, anglers experienced steady action, catching largemouth bass, red tail oscar, crappie, bowfin, peacocks, and cichlids. Rapala X raps and live bait best methods for anglers to get consistent bite.

Well, that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember, you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight lines! PhlatsInshoreFishing.com visit us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, twitter and YouTube.
