Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report
As we hit the one of the redfish holes again this morning you could see the fish scatter. Just after we laid both baits onto the flat a big school of reds, pushing a large wake, came into the zone. A big red picked up the first bait and immediately felt the hook cutting water away from the rest of the school. The school continued to the left and another big red picked up the other bait...fish on....double fish on! All of this happened in less than three seconds and both fish spit the hooks within four. Tough start. We had put a nice trout in the boat early and were sitting on the reds.
Fish were waking everywhere and after a little coaching from the guide both fishermen landed reds.
We left the reds and used the rest of the bait on the middle grounds catching a bunch of spanish, blues and hooking some sharks.
