Chokoloskee,Fishing in the rain - Well it started out pretty bad,rain,thunder and
Lighting.
After about 3 hours the wind switched west, and
I started fishing the runout creeks south of chokoloskee.

Sepember Fish Report - Snook season opens and we have been doing well on the smaller snook,18 to 28.
Fish the last of the outgoing to the first of the incoming tides,especially on the moon tides.

Snook Season Opens - This is the first week of snook season and it's been pretty quiet here in Chokoloskee.
I expected hundreds of boats on the water, but after fishing this week with Gil Drake,we didn't see that many.

Brown Water Rround Ups. - Well the gators have now made it to the outside rivers with all the run offs this time of year. I won't be suprised to see them where I live soon.

Double Header and it kept comming - This past week we stared out summer time evening trips.

Brown waters for snook tarpon and reds & drum - Considering we are in the beginning for the summer brown water conditions,fishing has been pretty good.

Tarpon and Snook - Well tarpon seem to be what have been the species most of my anglers are searching for at the present time.Their pleanty on the gulf side as well in the back country.

Tarpon and Snook - Considering the wind,my anglers did very well the last 4 days on the Snook and Tarpon.
We landed probably 125 snook in the 1525 range.
The tarpon have been from about 30lbs. to 130 lbs.
Despite the seasonal change we felt we did really well.
